ČP na Sport Expo v Praze

V sobotu venku krásně, ale moje myšlenky jsou jinde, těším se na další kolo ČP v boulderingu, závodech, které si už jedou vlastní level a u kterých je radost být jejich součástí. Kvalifikace je velký boj s teplem, bouldery mě baví, hlavně pětka po strukturách, zbylé bouldery vylezu OS a zajistím si tak první místo v kvaldě.

Nejtěžší boulder kvalifikace

Navečer se již ochladí a ve finále se leze příjemně, jen škoda divácké kulisy - kde jste byli, Pražáci? První finálový boulder je čisté peklo v kolmáči, kde jen Honza Chvála uchvátí zónu, u mě nula. Dvojka ladný přeskok a průtlak. V prvním pokusu mi lupne v koleni, musím zvolit jiný postup a top je v nedohlednu. Topuje Olda a Pišta Bednár. Trojka a čtyřka silovka, tím proběhnu na OS a vítězím!  Druhý je Pišta, třetí Štěpán za přelez trojky. Celkově byly bouldery povedené a prověřily hodně z našich dovedností. Díky, Vildo a Jendo.

Večírek obětujeme, v neděli vyrážíme na Sněžník s kluky z On/Off Productions dotáčet materiál k letnímu snímku o mně. Koleno je lehce oteklé a bolí, raději nechávám lezečky v autě, další světový pohár je za dveřmi a tam musím být fit. Na Sněžníku se na chvíli zastavila podmínka, Kačka dává svůj top pokus v ultra projektu na Medvědovi, ve skalách je dobrá nálada, krásný den.

A jak to teď bude? Svěťáky - Indie, Innsbruck - ČP Ostrava, a pak už červen. Je to nabité, snad bude koleno ok. 

The weather is beautiful on Sunday but my thoughts are elsewhere – Im looking forward to another round of Czech Cup in bouldering, a competition which already has its own standard and which I love to take part in. The qualification is complicated by hot weather but boulders are fun, in particular number five. I manage to climb the rest OS and thus I end up first in qualification.

In the evening it chills out a bit so the final is more agreeable. The only flaw is the lack of audience - where have you been, people from Prague? The first final's boulder is a pure vertical hell, only Honza Chvála reaches the zone, I fail. Number two requires an elegant jump and then you need to push yourself through. During the first attempt I suddenly feel pain in my knee and need to change the strategy. The top thus remains unconquered for me, but Olda a Pišta Bednár get there. The third and fourth boulder require strength, I do them both OS and win the competition! Pišta is second and Štěpán third, as he climbed the third boulder. In general, the boulders were well done and really tested our skills. Thanks to you both, Jenda and Vilda.

We sacrifice the afterparty in order to get to Sněžník with the guys from On/Off Productions, who need to record the rest of the material for the summer film about me. My knee is a bit swollen and hurts so I leave my climbing shoes in the car – another World Cup is coming soon and I need to be in shape there. Kačka makes her top attempt in the project on Medvěd, the mood is great and the day is beautiful.

And what are the things to come? The World Cups in India and Innsbruck, Czech Cup in Ostrava and then June. I'll be busy. Hope my knee will be all right.
